Question:Do you have any recommendations for people who have had lymph glands removed and suffer from swollen limbs?
Answer:A Regular exercise helps to stimulate the flow of lymph, and lympathic drainage massage can aid lympathic flow and drain excess fluid from your limbs. A lot of cancer care clinics will be able to refer you to someone who does this kind of massage. You may find that exercises like yoga and Psychocalisthenics will help.

A diet low in salt and high in potassium (which is abundant in all fruits and vegetables) is a good idea. Watermelon is particularly high in potassium. You can make a delicious and easy-to-drink smoothie by blending slices of watermelon with ice in a blender (including the seeds, which are very nutritious). Also drink lots of pure water, aiming for 8 to 10 glasses a day.
