Question:Do pills that claim to boost breast size work?
Answer:Pills claiming to increase breast size contain food sources of plant oestrogens, and while it is true that oestrogen stimulates breast growth, too much oestrogen is associated with increased risk for breast cancer. The advantage of plant oestrogens is that they are very weak compared to the real thing and can block oestrogen receptor sites, hence lowering the body' s oestrogen load, not raising it. There is no evidence that people whose diet is high is plant oestrogens, such as the Japanese, have larger breasts, nor have the manufacturers been able to supply any clinical trials to back up the claims being made.
