Question:I keep getting sinus infections. What can I do?
Answer:If the sinuses, which are chambers in the cheek and forehead area, get blocked and can' t clear, they are prone to infection. This can happen as an aftermath of a cold or because your mucous membranes are irritated (pollen and alcohol do this), or perhaps because you are allergic to something, the classic being milk products. Once the sinuses are infected it' s hard to get rid of the infection without anti-biotics. The trickis to stop them from getting blocked up.

If you' ve got the first signs of an infection, avoid all milk products, including cheese. Eat lots of fresh fruit and supplement 3g of vitamin C a day, which boosts your immune system, until youare back to normal (some people get loose bowels from taking this amount of vitamin C,so adjust as necessary). Saline or seawater sprays, which are used a lot in Europe, can also helpclear and cleanout the sinuses. Ask for Sterimar, Rhinomar or Prorhinol brands in your local chemist and use three or four times a day.
