Question:What' s the best way to calm down an insect bite?
Answer:Insect bites cause a histamine reaction that isolates the poison, resulting in an itchy lump. Applying MSM (organic sulphur) cream or aloe vera gel as soon as possible cools the sting and helps reduce itchiness. Vitamin C is an antihistamine, so take 1g an hour for the first three hours after you were bitten. And to help promote healing, cut open a vitamin E capsule and put the oil on the bite.
