Question:The soles of my feet are excruciatingly painful to walk on first thing in the morning. What is this?
Answer:Very tender and burning feet or heels are a sign of a deficiency in vitamin B5, or pantothenic acid. Other signs of deficiency in this vitamin can include anxiety, teeth grinding, muscle tremors, exhaustion and sleep problems. You could certainly try supplementing 500mg of pantothenic acid to check the burning in your feet. B5 is also found in brewer' s yeast, peas, beans, organ meat, chicken, fish and wholegrains.

If this doesn' t help, it is possible you have a circulation problem. See your doctor to rule out that possibility.
