| Answer: | Arthritis is a disease that tends to come and go for no reason at all. If a sufferer is taking a medication at the time of an easing of symptoms, they will credit that medication with the result. Psychology and the placebo effect also play a large part. Up to 40% of patients who are told capsules full of sugar are the latest and greatest drug for arthritis, will get better (for a while anyway). |
