Question:Meniere' s disease is extremely difficult to cure, and doctors try many different medications. I have found a cure for the condition in myself, and for years I have not had any attacks of dizziness or noises in the ears. My cure is regular doses of all the B group vitamins. I would appreciate it if you could pass this on to your readers who may suffer from this distressing condition.
Answer:Meniere' s disease causes dizziness, deafness and persistent noises in the ears. It is caused by diseases of the inner ear, and most commonly by a deterioration in the blood supply to the inner ear with age and hardening of the arteries. As you rightly point out, it is a very difficult condition to control, and almost impossible to cure. Doctors use a wide range of medications, and rarely surgery, in attempts to assist the patient. More than half of all victims are assisted by these regimes, but the rest are left to suffer the annoying consequences of the condition. I am delighted that you have found vitamin B has helped you, and as this group of vitamins is generally safe in all but extremely high doses, there is no reason why other sufferers should not experiment with this form of treatment. Unfortunately, very often, the treatment that helps one person does not always help others. Anyone with Meniere' s disease should consult a doctor to ensure that there is no serious cause for the disease, and to try some of the more commonly used treatments. If these fail, vitamin B could also be tried, but if unsuccessful, they should return to their doctor to continue trials of other potentially beneficial medications.
