| Answer: | There are many different opinions about this, but I would encourage you to have a Pap smear now, and another in two years. If both are normal, you may not need to continue having them.
A Pap smear could turn up a condition of the cervix that may lead to cancer in later years. This can be treated just as well at 65 as it could at 35.
