Question:Recently my first pregnancy ended in its 7th week because I have a bi-horn uterus. What chances do f have of a norma! and successful pregnancy in the future?
Answer:A bihorn uterus is one that is split down the middle into two separate, but smaller uteruses. They usually open into the vagina through the one cervix, but rarely two cervixes are present. It is a developmental defect, and has been present since you were born. It is an uncommon condition, but does not prevent a normal pregnancy from developing. There is a slightly higher rate of pregnancy complications, but there should be no reason that you cannot in due course have your own child.
