Question:I have been diagnosed as suffering from ' acne rose asia' . Is there a cure? What will happen to my skin?
Answer:Acne rosacea is a skin condition that is far more prevalent in females and those of middle age than any other group. It presents as pimples, flushing and redness of the face that is usually symmetrical. The cause is unknown, and there is no evidence that foods or vitamins can play any part in its cause or treatment. Tetracycline type antibiotics usually clear the condition, and there is a skin preparation also available (Rozex). A complete recovery may take many weeks and the rash may recur after the treatment is ceased, but if this occurs the drug is merely taken for a longer period to control the disease. The medication is not a cure, but will control the majority of attacks.
