Symptoms of Paranoid Disorder
The preoccupation with imagined persecutions may have a marked effect upon the patient' s home life, and may cause disruption to a marriage or family. Examples include the belief that the secret service has bugged the home and is listening to all the conversations of the family, or that the next-door neighbor is deliberately undertaking activities that are constantly irritating. May occur alone, or as a part of schizophrenia.
