Symptoms of Sezary Syndrome Persistently itchy patches of thick red skin, overlying hair loss on affected skin, and enlarged lymph nodes in neck, groin, armpits and elsewhere. |
Tests for Sezary Syndrome Skin and lymph node biopsy abnormal, and a blood test reveals abnormal blood white cells. |
Treatment for Sezary Syndrome Low grade irradiation of skin, and cytotoxic drugs (chemotherapy).

Complications of Sezary Syndrome of its treatment May spread to other areas of the body. Nails may be damaged. Eventually progresses to leukemia or a type of sarcoma. |
Likely Outcome of Sezary Syndrome Very slowly progressive despite treatment. |
