Causes of Viraemia
Almost any virus that enters the body (often through the nose or mouth) and circulates in the blood, rather than attacking any specific area. |
Symptoms of Viraemia
General feeling of being unwell, variable fever, tiredness and generalized aches and pains. |
Tests for Viraemia
None normally necessary. Blood tests will show the presence of a virus, and sometimes which one. |
Treatment for Viraemia
Aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medications, and pain killers such as paracetamol. Time and rest are the only cures.
