Question:I' ve had a minor sore throat and catarrh for weeks now. What I can do?
Answer:You may well have a low-lying, low-grade infection that your body' s defences just can' t shift. If you are particularly stressed, overexercising, drinking too much alcohol or eating badly, these will burden your immune system, so you' ll need to deal with that. To give your immune system a boost, eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and take a supplement which contains vitamin C, zinc and berry extracts three times a day. Also take the herbal remedies cat' s claw and echinacea. Some people fmd that avoiding milk products when they have catarrh helps by reducing mucus,so give that a go too.
