Question:I' ve had a terrible flu this year and i don' t want to get it again. When should I get my annual flu shot?
Answer:The best time is between March and May. The Influenza vaccine does not become available until the end of February each year, as the new types of influenza virus in the environment have to be identified and the appropriate vaccine must be developed and produced. Unfortunately, the influenza virus has the ability to change its form regularly, so a flu shot one year will not necessarily protect you the next year.
